Good full red. Spicy red fruits, smoky minerality and soil tones on the nose. At once velvety-smooth and sappy, with its red berry flavors given a light touch by smoky minerality. Not at all overly sweet; in fact, this very impressive village wine finishes classically dry and long, with a firm spine of well-buffered tannins. Accessible already but will be even better in three years.

Chambolle-Musigny

Chambolle-Musigny, a prestigious appellation in Burgundy's Côte de Nuits, is renowned for its elegant, aromatic Pinot Noir wines. Known for their finesse and complex aromas of red berries, violets, and earth, these wines are often described as the most "feminine" of Burgundy. The appellation's two Grand Cru vineyards, Bonnes Mares and Musigny, produce highly sought-after wines with depth and ageing potential. Notable producers include Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé, Domaine Georges Roumier, and Domaine Jacques-Frédéric Mugnier, all celebrated for their refined winemaking.
